Highways – Temporary Road Closure from Hampshire County Council in East Hampshire area
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Hampshire County Council, because of an urgent incident on or near the road, considers that the closure to the road mentioned below should come into force without delay.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Brightstone Lane between its junction with Pies Farm and a point approximately 890 Metres East of said junction.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Telegraph Lane, A31, A32
DURATION OF THIS NOTICE: from 23rd September 2025 for a maximum period of 5 days or until completion of the Emergency Restriction whichever is sooner (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out cabling to restore customer service.
