THE BOROUGH OF EASTLEIGH (BURSLEDON, HAMBLE-LE-RICE AND HOUND)
(AMENDMENT NO. 9) ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Eastleigh Borough Council pursuant to arrangements with Hampshire County Council has made the above mentioned Traffic Regulation Order in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Sections 1, 2, 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.
The effect of the Order is to:
Introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions in the following roads: Ash Close both sides from its junction with Oak Road eastwards for 8 metres, , Beaulieu Road both sides from its junction with Hamble Lane north-eastwards for 10 metres, Dodwell Lane north-west side from its junction with Oakhill northwards to 18 metres south-west of Dodwell Close, Ensign Way north-west side from 30 metres north-east to 10 metres south-west of the vehicular access to South Point and from 20 metres south of the vehicular access to South Point southwards for 27 metres, south-east side from 18 metres north of the vehicular access to South Point southwards to a point 10 metres south of the northern vehicular access to Mitchell Point, Hamble Lane north-east side from 3 metres north-west to 11 metres south-east of Beaulieu Road, Oak Road east side from 7 metres north to 7 metres south of its junction with Ash Close, Oakhill north side from Dodwell Lane for 10 metres north-westwards, and from 26 metres north-west of Dodwell Lane for 14 metres north-westwards
Introduce 'parking place for 30 minutes no return within 2 hours Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm' in New Road north side from 8 metres south-east of its junction with Station Road south-eastwards for 21 metres.
Revoke Schedules 22 and 23 to The Borough of Eastleigh (Bursledon, Hamble-Le-Rice and Hound) Consolidation Order 2012 (as amended), and insert new Schedules 22, 23, 24 and 25. This is to correct anomalies (duplication of Schedules) in previous amendments to this Order.
The Order will come into operation on 29 April 2019. A copy of the Order may be inspected at my office at Eastleigh House, Upper Market Street, Eastleigh during normal office hours or on the Councils website: www.eastleigh.gov.uk/TRO
Any persons wishing to question the validity of this Order or any provisions contained in it on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 19 April 2019 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
