NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) has made an Order to allow safe access for works to connect a sewer pipe in the carriageway as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED Part of Braishfield Road Braishfield outside of 'Amberley', a point 50 metres north of Church Lane for 5 metres further north.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES From the northern point of closure, north on Braishfield Road, west on Paynes Hay Road, south on Lower Street, west on Upper Lower Street, south on Rudd Lane, west on Bunny Lane, south and east on Yolksford Hill/Belbins/Sandy Lane, north on Braishfield Road to the southern point of closure and on the same roads in the opposite direction. When the road is closed the 6'6" width restriction on Paynes Hay Road, Lower Street, Upper Lower Street and Rudd Lane is temporarily suspended.
PERIOD OF ORDER From Monday 20 May 2019 for a period of 1 month or until completion of works, whichever is sooner.
DURATION OF WORKS The closure is expected to operate from Monday 20 May 2019 for 5 days at all times.
Reasonable access to adjoining properties will be available while the works are carried out.
