The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert Fareham Footpath 36. The diverted route commences at a point on Heath Lane (Footpath 38) and proceeds in a south-westerly direction to follow the current field boundary for approximately 1129 metres, continuing in a westerly direction to a point on Brownwich Lane (Footpath 37).
The above named Order, made on 15 March 2021 under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 will extinguish part of the public footpath that currently runs from a junction with Kilmeston Footpath 501 at SU 5888 2543 and proceeds south-westward alongside Footpath 501, rejoining it at SU 5804 2445.
The above named Order made on 22 February 2021, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by recording a Restricted Byway commencing at a point on The Dean and continuing in a northerly direction through the River Alre to a junction with Old Alresford Restricted Byway 6, and will also record a new footpath linking Old Alresford Restricted Byway 6 and New Alresford Footpath 10.
