THE HAMPSHIRE (EAST HAMPSHIRE DISTRICT NO.21) (PARISH OF CHAWTON – UNRECORDED RESTRICTED BYWAY INCORPORATING BRIDLEWAY 4) PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER 2022

The above-named Order, made on 14 April 2022 under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 will extinguish the unrecorded restricted byway rights running through Chawton Park Wood to the north and south of Chawton Bridleway 4, commencing at a junction with Brick Kiln Lane and proceeding in a north-easterly direction through Chawton Park Wood, terminating on Northfield Lane.

THE HAMPSHIRE (TEST VALLEY BOROUGH NO.30) (PARISH OF SMANNELL – PART OF FOOTPATH 714) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2022

On the 16 March 2022 Hampshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert part of Smannell Footpath 714 from an existing alignment, cutting the corner of an arable field between SU 3742 4871 and SU 3749 4879) to a new alignment running around the edge of the field between SU 3742 4871 to 3749 4879 via SU 3745 4880.

The above named Order, made on 14 April 2022 under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 will extinguish part of West End Footpath 501 commencing at a junction with West End Footpath 11b and continuing southwards to a junction with West End Footpath 510 at Ash Drive.

THE HAMPSHIRE (WINCHESTER CITY NO.52) (PARISH OF SOBERTON - FOOTPATH NO. 30 AND PARISH OF HAMBLEDON - FOOTPATH NO. 4A) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2021

On the 31 March 2022 Hampshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the footpaths from their current alignment that commences at a point on Hoe Street and continues in an easterly direction for approximately 225 metres before continuing in a south easterly direction crossing Hole Lane to join Hambledon Footpath 3. The diverted routes will commence at the same point on Hoe Street and continue in a south easterly direction crossing Hole Lane to a point on Hambledon Footpath 3 just south of the original routes.
