THE HAMPSHIRE (EAST HAMPSHIRE DISTRICT NO.21) (PARISH OF CHAWTON – UNRECORDED RESTRICTED BYWAY INCORPORATING BRIDLEWAY 4) PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER 2022

The above-named Order, made on 14 April 2022 under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 will extinguish the unrecorded restricted byway rights running through Chawton Park Wood to the north and south of Chawton Bridleway 4, commencing at a junction with Brick Kiln Lane and proceeding in a north-easterly direction through Chawton Park Wood, terminating on Northfield Lane.

THE HAMPSHIRE (FAREHAM BOROUGH NO.5) (FAREHAM – PART OF FOOTPATH NO.42) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2022

On the 14 April 2022 Hampshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert part of Fareham Footpath 42 from an alignment commencing at a point south-west of ponds at Carron Row Farm and continuing in a south-easterly the southerly direction through farm buildings and paddocks to meet Fareham Footpath 41a, to an alignment commencing at the above-mentioned starting point and continuing in a south-westerly and southerly direction to an access road and continuing southwards to a junction with Fareham Footpaths 41a and 43, approximately 75 metres to the west of the existing junction.
