The General Nature and Effects of the Order: Will be to add to the existing turning, and prohibition of entry and pedestrian restrictions at various locations, (as shown coloured on the maps attached to the order) on Henry Cort Way, between its current point of termination 646 metres south-west of its junction with Hutfield Link and its junction with B3334 Rowner Road.
GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: will be to impose a 30mph speed limit and extend the existing 40mph speed limit in specified lengths of Henry Cort Way as follows:
Between its junction with Rowner Road and a point approximately 342 metres north-west thereof.
Between a point 342 metres north-west of its junction with Rowner Road and a point 74 metres south-east of the centreline of its junction with the Tichborne Way bridge at Gosport, an approximate distance of 646 metres.
THE GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECT OF THE ORDER:- will be to prohibit vehicles from making left and right turn manoeuvres at the junction of School Lane and Farnham Road as follows:
(i) No left turn from School Lane into Farnham Road: and
(ii) No right turn from Farnham Road into School Lane
GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to implement a 50mph speed limit on the following roads at Ringwood:
- U121 Kingston Service Road between its junction with the B3347 Christchurch Road and its junction with U121 Rod Lane.
- U121 Old Road Kingston between its junction with B3347 Christchurch Road and its junction with U121 Moorhouse Lane
- U121 Moorhouse Lane for its entire length.
THE GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECT OF THE TWELVE ORDERS: will be to:
(i) introduce virtual permits for designated permit parking places in the New Forest district; and
(ii) allow checking of a valid permit for a parked vehicle by means of a handheld device and an electronic database approved by the Council as an alternative to displaying a valid permit in the vehicle when parked in a permit parking place.
