The Hampshire (The Borough of Test Valley (High Street, Andover)) (Pedestrian Zone) Order 2010 (Amendment No. 1) Order 2021

THE GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECT OF THE ORDERS: To introduce virtual permits for designated permit parking places in Test Valley. To allow checking of a valid permit for a parked vehicle by means of a handheld device and an electronic database approved by the Council as an alternative to displaying a valid permit in the vehicle when parked in a permit parking place. To replace the existing charges for permits in Test Valley with the charges set out in Schedule 3 below.

GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECT OF THE ORDER: will be to extend the existing 30 miles per hour speed limit (by virtue of a system of street lighting) for approximately 110 metres east of its existing point 198 metres east of its junction with Marshall Drive (existing 40 mph speed limit).

GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF ORDER: will be to reverse the existing one-way traffic flow  running  from north-east to south-west in the southern section of Meeting House Lane so as to run from south-west to north-east, between its junction with C179 Market Place / High Street and its junction with Western Service Road / Northumberland Court.
