The above-named Order, made on 15 November 2022 under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 will extinguish the above-named public footpath, which commences at a junction with Hawley Road at SU 8579 5880 and continues south-eastward to a junction with Fernhill Lane at SU 8593 5893. -

HAMPSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL & WOKINGHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 THE HAMPSHIRE DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT OF PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY (DATED 15TH DECEMBER 2007) AND WOKINGHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT OF PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY THE HAMPSHIRE (HART DISTRICT 27) (BRAMSHILL) & THE WOKINGHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL, PARISH OF SWALLOWFIELD (SWALLOWFIELD BYWAY OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC 38 AND SWALLOWFIELD RESTRICTED BYWAY 39) DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2019
On the 14 December 2022 the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed this Order with modifications. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to record the following: • Wokingham Borough - a byway open to all traffic, varying between 7.9 and 13 metres in width, commencing at a junction with Jouldings Farm (SU 75296 63512) and proceeding south-westward to a junction with Jouldings Ford on the River Blackwater (SU 75251 63479). • Wokingham Borough – a restricted byway, 13 metres in width, commencing at a junction with the above-mentioned byway open to all traffic on the northern side of Jouldings Ford (SU 75251 63479) and proceeding south-westward to the county boundary, on the River Blackwater (SU 75249 63475). • County of Hampshire - a restricted byway, varying between 7.7 and 13 metres in width, commencing at a junction with the above-mentioned restricted byway at the county boundary (SU 75249 63475), proceeding south-westward to a junction with Well House Lane (SU 75124 63219).
