TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – VARIATIONS OF PARKING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS ON WINNALL MANOR ROAD

Will be to vary the prohibitions and restrictions of parking and waiting on Winnall Manor Road (spur to the flats) to reflect the new road layout following the closing of the end of Winnall Manor Road spur, from Craddock House to Earle House.

THE HAMPSHIRE (THE BOROUGH OF EASTLEIGH TOWN CENTRE) (CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2022) (AMENDMENT NO. 2) ORDER 2023

To facilitate a new cycling scheme in the Eastleigh Town Centre Area will be to amend / vary several existing parking and waiting restrictions in the following roads: (i) Leigh Road (ii) Market Street The order will also vary the existing schedules contained in The Borough of Eastleigh (Eastleigh Town Centre) Consolidation Order 2022 (the Principal Order) as follows: (i) Schedule 2.01 (No Waiting at Any Time) (ii) Schedule 3.01 (No Loading/Unloading at Any Time) (iii) A new schedule shall be added and titled: Schedule 5.04 Parking Places, 8:00am – 6:00pm, Fifteen Minutes Return Prohibited Within Two Hours) and the following item added shall be inserted thereto: Leigh Road North From a point 25 metres west of the extended kerbline of Southampton Road westwards for a distance of 10.5 metres (iv) Schedule 7.02 of the Principal Order (Pay & Display (One Hour Maximum Stay No Return Within Two Hours) Monday to Saturday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm) (v) Schedule 7.03 (One Hour Maximum Stay No Return Within Two Hours) Monday to Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm and Saturday 8:00am – 6:00pm (free of charge Mon-Fr 3:00pm – 6:00pm) (vi) Schedule 9.01 (Loading and Unloading Only)

NOTICE OF VARIATION OF ON-STREET PARKING FEES - WINCHESTER CITY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council in exercise of its powers and duties under Section 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and Regulation 25 of the Local Authorities’ Traffic Order (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 proposes to vary the charges for residents’ on-street parking permits in accordance with this notice, with effect from 24th November 2023 having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.

THE HAMPSHIRE (TOWER STREET, WINCHESTER) (EXPERIMENTAL PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) (NO. 2) ORDER 2023

THE GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECT OF THE ORDER :- will for an experimental period of eighteen months prohibit vehicles from that length of Tower Street, Winchester between its junction with Staple Gardens and its junction with Jewry Street. The existing order will be suspended for the duration of this order. In the event that the experiment is not made permanent the provisions contained in the existing order shall be reinstated. This Order will also revoke The Hampshire (Tower Street, Winchester) (Experimental Prohibition of Driving) Order 2023 The Order provides that in pursuance of section 10(2) of the Act, the specified officer may, if it appears essential in the interests of the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of traffic on the highway or for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which any road affected by the Order runs, modify or suspend the Order or any of its provisions.
