COMMONS ACT 2006 – SECTION 15(1) Notice of an application for the registration of land as a Town or Village Green - VG 265 - Land known as North Walls Playing Fields - Winchester
Application has been made to Hampshire County Council by the ‘Save the Rec’ group, care of 33 Nuns Road, Winchester, SO23 7EF under section 15(1) of the Commons Act 2006 and in accordance with the Commons (Registration of Town or Village Greens) (Interim Arrangements) (England) Regulations 2007. The application seeks the inclusion in the register of town and village greens of the land described in the Schedule below which is claimed to have qualified for registration as a town or village green on 25 November 2013 by virtue of a significant number of the inhabitants of the locality having indulged in lawful sports and pastimes on the land as of right, for a period of at least twenty years, and continuing to do so at the time of the application.Town or Village Green – Legal Notice Hampshire County Council Winchester
