The effect of the Order as confirmed will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by upgrading Swanmore Footpath 1 to bridleway status (between U201 Damson Hill to a junction with Droxford Footpaths 3 and 4), by adding a bridleway running north- eastwards from a junction with Droxford Footpaths 3 and 4, running parallel to Footpath 3 through Phrympth Wood a junction with Droxford Bridleway 501 and T201 Shepherds Down Lane, and by recording T201 Sherpherds Down Lane (running between Dundridge Land and Park Lane) as a byway open to all traffic.

The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert Footpath 2 in the Parish of Headbourne Worthy, between SU 47024 34756 and SU 47023 34747, between SU 4702 3465 and SU 4714 3421, and between SU 4708 3388 and SU 4692 3354.
