Our catering teams will be serving up thousands of traditional Christmas school lunches before schools break for the Christmas holidays.
Spreading festive cheer, Christmas lunch is a highlight of the year and ensures every child has the opportunity to eat at least one Christmas lunch. Bringing together the whole school community, it’s a busy time for our kitchen teams who will cook turkey breast, roast potatoes, stuffing, gravy, Brussel sprouts, peas and carrots, followed by our infamous Christmas cracknell or chocolate orange pudding, a Christmas iced biscuit or fruit salad. Non-meat eaters will feast on vegetable wellington instead of turkey.
Schools have been given Christmas place mats, party hats and bunting for children to colour and decorate, to make their dining hall more festive. Find downloads for home use.
