We want to make sure as many eligible pupils as possible are claiming their free school meals.

Parents of infants who might be entitled are still strongly encouraged to apply for free school meals because it enables your school to access additional funding known as Pupil Premium which is used to provide additional support to improve access to learning. It may also, depending upon individual school policies, give parents access to help with uniform costs or the cost of school trips for example. So it gives double the funding for your school!

Children in Year 3 and above may be also entitled to receive Free School Meals if parents are in receipt of financial support.
