Education Catering can provide much more than just school lunches – simply let us know what you need and when you need it. Sandwiches for a governors’ meeting, packed lunches for an inset day or canapes for a special visitor, let alone piri-piri chicken or handmade pizza for a parent-teacher night are just some of the requests we can cook for you.

To order and for prices, simply speak to your school’s unit manager or your district manager who can discuss your requirements with you. Alternatively, you can contact the Education Catering offices directly.

For all Hampshire County Council schools, hospitality is provided at cost during school hours if held on the premises. Catering for academies, external contracts and third parties are inclusive of VAT.

  • Education Catering is your chosen provider for catering in your school
  • Before booking any hospitality, we ask that you ensure that the room you hope to use is available and suitable for the consumption of food
  • The hospitality food options listed are for service and delivery between 8:30am and 1:30 pm Monday to Friday. However, we can provide service at other times by prior arrangement
  • You must give 72 HOURS written notice on working days for food, to allow Education Catering to order fresh produce. Please speak to us if you need a more urgent request
  • Allergies or lifestyle dietary requirements must be advised in writing at time of booking. It is the responsibility of the person ordering the hospitality to ensure the information provided is correct
  • The layout of certain buildings may, for health and safety reasons, restrict the service we can offer, and it may be necessary for a ‘disposable’ service to be used. We will advise this at the time of booking
  • All food is prepared for immediate consumption
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event may be charged in full
  • Crockery/cake stands etc. can be hired at additional cost by arrangement
  • Hospitality equipment delivered must remain in the room, and missing pieces of equipment will be charged
