Food Safety Level 2
This one day course will help you to understand the importance of food hygiene, associated food hazards, good hygiene practice and controls based upon an awareness of food safety management systems. You will learn how to maintain good practice in the handling, processing and preparation of safe food.

This course is delivered to all relevant Education Catering staff. It is assessed via a multiple choice examination. This will last 45 minutes.
It is also available to external groups and private individuals. For external candidates, the cost is £75 excluding VAT. This price includes training materials, examination and certification.
No prior learning is required although an understanding of commercial catering is desirable. External candidates will also need to provide an acceptable form of photographic I.D (Passport / Driving License).
