Well I am 9 months into my apprenticeship and I can not believe it has gone so fast! In my last blog I spoke about starting my apprenticeship and how I realised it was not going to be as easy as I first thought. I was right it definitely has been hard work but absolutely worth it.
I have gained qualifications in maths and ICT, and have just completed the part of the apprenticeship I was dreading most… The presentation! On 10 October with my anxieties high I stood in front of people and gave a presentation. Ok it probably was not the best presentation ever, but I did it, and I even received positive feedback.
Thanks to this apprenticeship my confidence keeps on growing. I have even signed myself up to talk at a ‘drive safe’ event in November. I am pushing myself to take every opportunity that comes my way, even if it is out of my comfort zone.
I have met some lovely people throughout my apprenticeship and I will be sad when it comes to an end; however I am also looking forward to seeing what the future holds.
Finally I would just like to thank everyone that has helped me in the last 9 months you have all helped me to progress not only my career but myself as a person.
