Beyond Collective is a busy working band in the London Rock and Pop scene. Combining electronic and acoustic instruments, Beyond Collective covers an array of contemporary styles including the music of the much-celebrated Daft Punk and Bruno Mars.
Beyond collective is comprised of some of the best, most accomplished and sought after international touring musicians in the country. All of the band members have a strong musical grounding in education, having studied at Trinity Laban, The Royal Academy of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Leeds College of Music. Playing in their own original projects and as backing musicians on stage for artists such as Jessie J, Ellie Goulding, Lily Allen and many more has given the musicians a wealth of experience and taken them to some amazing places. Venues that they have played include the Royal Albert Hall, the O2, Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club, Radio 1 Live Lounge and Abbey Road Studios. They have done multiple tours of different countries and festival circuits which include the likes of mainstage of Glastonbury, Reading Festival and Wireless Festival.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a one-day workshop, including:
- Live performance from Beyond Collective
- Instrumental and sectional workshops led by Beyond Collective musicians
- Band workshop led by Beyond Collective musicians
- Performing as a band for a showcase concert to family and friends with Beyond Collective
These workshops are open to secondary pupils playing drums and percussion, guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, violin, cello, saxophone, trumpet, trombone and vocals of grade/stage 4-8+.
