25 Years of National School Meals Week

This November, from 12 to 16, we are celebrating National School Meals Week.  This nationally recognised event is in its jubilee year and is a fantastic opportunity to highlight all that is great about school meals whilst having a feast of fun!

This year we are asking our schools to invite families to enjoy a ‘Great Roast Dinner’. Working with Food for Life, we want to highlight the quality produce used for all our school meals including; the red tractor and RSPCA assured British meats and delicious seasonal vegetables. Speak with your schools for further details and experience the quality produce and value for money school catering we offer.

For the first time we are taking part in the LACA, Lead Association for catering in Education, Regional Big Tour; where pupils at a primary school in Fareham Hampshire, will take part in fun activities to demonstrate the importance of being ‘powered’ by a school meal. With additional engaging and educational bake-off events, live cooking demonstrations and a lucky member of our team taking advantage of the ‘Host a Chef’ initiative by working with the team at Limewood in the New Forest.  We are going to be busy!

For further information and updates follow us on Facebook.
