Working to provide young people with healthy and balanced meals every day

Education catering

Primary schools

HC3S is the catering partner chosen to provide nutritious and tasty meals in your child's school or nursery. We cater for many different tastes, serving a mix of British classics and foods from around the world. We know that a nutritious lunch full of fresh ingredients will help your child to succeed.

Our teams are passionate about making healthy eating fun. Year group assemblies, visits with suppliers and our ever-popular theme days are just a few of the ways that we can get involved.

By supporting the curriculum in this way, we encourage children to develop positive eating habits from an early age. These skills will serve them well on their journey through school and beyond.

Middle, secondary and further education

School meals in our secondary and middle schools are very different to the primary lunch experience. Students expect to be treated more like adults as they enter this phase in their life. It's important that our school meals reflect what students would eat out and about with friends and family.

Turning to the high street for inspiration, we provide a selection of grab-and-go options as well as sit-down meals. We do this without losing sight of the School Food Standards. Menu changes and theme days ensure that there is an exciting selection of food all year round.

At S6C coffee lounge we start the college day the right way. From bacon rolls, veggie sausage baps to egg muffins and porridge, students can grab some breakfast before lessons.

Throughout the day, we provide a contemporary range of lite bites, mains worth the wait plus a range of drinks including our Arabica and Robusta bean coffee that’s roasted in Hampshire.

Looking for a provider?

We offer a complete catering service, providing food for primary schools with and without kitchen facilities. Our teams love baking bread and always freshly cook our school meals without reheating them.

For schools without kitchens who are looking to offer a hot meal delivery service, we are experienced in ensuring pupils have the same excellent experience that we provide in schools with kitchens.

We are happy with the quality of food and the increased numbers of children choosing hot dinners. The staff work really hard and have a lovely relationship with the children. They work very well together.
Amanda Webb, Head Teacher, Talavera Junior School
As a school we feel the kitchen staff deliver a great service to our staff and pupils. They treat the children really well, such as reminding them of the hot service counter and encouraging them to have healthy choices of vegetables. Kitchen staff are also flexible in the odd slip up of missed orders or lost tokens and try their best to do whatever they can.
Natasha Brock, Head of School, Alderwood School
I would like to pass on our huge thanks and appreciation for the support and dedication your team has shown our school. The team that provide meals for our vulnerable and keyworker children. They have adapted so well to the changes and worked with us to provide a seamless service that follows all guidelines and ensures the safety of the children and our staff. They are always friendly, approachable and happy to discuss our needs. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We consider ourselves very fortunate to work with such a professional, caring and supportive team during this unprecedented time.
