The Professional Skills Programme

We believe it is important to our future sustainability to give our staff the opportunity to train within the organisation and to progress their career with us. In 2017, we launched our Professional Skills Programme to encourage, support and develop our catering staff to progress within the organisation.

This programme meets LACA - The School Food People Professional Standards for School Catering Staff. These standards define the professional requirements that underpin the delivery of quality school food. HC3S is proud to be one of the first six organisations in the UK recognised for their commitment in using the Professional Standards.
