School expeditions
DofE Award expeditions for schools groups taking place within Hampshire
Hampshire Outdoors are part of Hampshire County Council, Children’s Services Directorate; and are an Approved Activity Provider (AAP) for the DofE Award. We are also fully licensed with the Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority (AALA).
We have been providing high quality DofE expedition and residential experiences across the UK for more than 25 years and pride ourselves on the relationships we build with our partners and their young people.
When partnering with Hampshire Outdoors you are not only choosing the high-quality service, knowledge and experience that comes with a licenced AAP, you are also purchasing the confidence, back up and support that comes from electing to use an Ofsted “Outstanding” Children's Services authority.
All of our packages include:
- Hampshire County Council DofE expedition qualified supervisors
- all camping fees
- group expedition kit – tents, stoves, gas, maps, compasses
- EVOLVE support and guidance
- DofE nationally accredited assessors
- support documents, including kit lists, route cards and maps
- Option to have "aims" presented to Hampshire Outdoors leaders
- £200,000,000 Liability Insurance

Last year was my first experience of using Hampshire Outdoors as a new DofE Leader. I have been very impressed from the initial organisation through to the expedition.
