Halls Hill campsite

A dedicated DofE campsite located within the South Downs national park

Halls Hill campsite is set in the heart of the South Downs National Park, situated within Queen Elizabeth Country Park just off the A3, three miles south of Petersfield in Hampshire. The campsite is intended to provide an unmatched true 'wild' camping experience with very basic facilities.

Halls Hill is also located within an International Dark Sky Reserve (IDSR). The South Downs IDSR is the second in England and one of only 16 in the world. Participants can take advantage of awe-inspiring night-time views as well as stunning daytime surroundings.

This campsite is for DofE and educational groups only and as a result is not shared with members of the public.

There is free, limited car parking available next to the campsite for ease of unloading kit. Petersfield centre is located within a 10-minute drive, where you can find multiple shops, takeaways and restaurants.
