Try your willow weaving skills on a round shallow basket. This shape is great for displaying fruit on a table / side board or as a tidy basket for post, keys, and all those bits n bobs. Louise will guide you through creating a circular base with buff stripped willow. Each one will be unique and size will depend on each persons skill and speed. Then you’ll learn to insert uprights and wale a short side to create space for a border.
There will be two styles of border, one for complete beginners and one for those with a bit more experience.
A full day course with a short break so bring a packed lunch, an apron or work clothes and sharp secateurs if you have some.
