Creating sculptures inspired by Goldsworthy

Learning objective

To understand Andy Goldsworthy’s style and use the environment around us to create Andy Goldsworthy inspired sculptures.

During this 1-hour session, children will have an opportunity to look at natural artwork sculptures created by Andy Goldsworthy and then use these as an inspiration to create their own. Our wonderful grounds mean that this is an exciting art activity to do at any time of year. The children can work individually or in groups and will have opportunity to view and evaluate work at the end of the session.
