Joint Pension Fund Panel and Board

The Hampshire Pension Fund has been granted approval from the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) to form a Joint Pension Fund Panel and Board. The Joint Panel and Board is responsible for the governance and management of the Hampshire Pension Fund and will include the discharge of responsibilities for Local Pension Boards that were created in the amended LGPS regulations, published in January 2015.

The Joint Pension Fund Panel and Board is responsible for the statutory functions as the Administering Authority of the Hampshire Pension Fund, including matters arising that relate to the management and investment of the Fund, and assisting to secure compliance with the Local Government Pension Scheme Regulations and associated legislation.
