Hampshire Scientific Service is a UKAS accredited testing laboratory No.0024 and we specialise in helping to protect the public by providing scientific advice and consultancy as well as laboratory testing.
The range of our services include food testing (chemistry and microbiology) product safety, microbiology, occupational hygiene and environmental testing.
Service features
- Food enforcement work, including authenticity, adulteration, microbiological and chemical composition
- Microbiological and chemical analysis of water, including swimming pools, drinking water, hot and cold water systems (Legionella), bathing water and sampling service
- Environmental and occupational hygiene monitoring, including local exhaust ventilation inspection and testing, and landfill monitoring
- Product safety testing
- Training in all aspects of food and feed enforcement, and Legionella risk assessment/management
- Expert opinion, including court appearances and witness statements
