Hampshire study centres
Helping teachers deliver learning outside of the classroom, we provide unique hands-on learning and team building experiences using the varied environments of our study centres. Through the diverse learning opportunities we provide, we aim to inspire children about the outdoors and promote independence and teamwork.
The ethos ensured that we all felt nurtured and cared for – children and staff came away 10 feet taller and changed forever
The children have become more confident, independent and, of course, more environmentally aware
Service features
Minstead Study Centre, Lyndhurst
All our visits offer a magical blend of outdoor adventures, both in the ‘wild wood’ and in our beautiful grounds. Children can work with our animals, harvest produce in our organic garden and cook their own pizza in our outdoor clay oven. While here, they can explore a multitude of diverse habitats and enjoy stories around the campfire. Our award-winning eco-dormitory accommodates 34 children, alongside staff bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The residential aspect provides an ideal opportunity for children to develop independence and collaborate with their classmates, whilst learning to live in a more sustainable way.
We also offer day visits for staff or children, encouraging whole school improvement through outdoor learning, plus a wide variety of community events.
Stubbington Study Centre, Fareham
We aim to ensure learning comes to life through a wide range of hands-on experiences designed to enhance classroom learning, while developing independence and self-confidence. We offer a broad and bespoke programme of activities exploring environmental, cultural and adventurous themes.
Our primary-specialist education team ensure children progress socially and academically by creating a fun, stimulating and supportive learning environment, with an emphasis on teamwork, respect and responsibility.
Set in a secure 14 acre site on the Solent coast, our new dormitories and recently refurbished facilities can cater for over 100 children and provide the perfect venue for an all-inclusive residential experience.
Non-residential day visits for schools are sometimes possible, as are youth and community groups visits during school holiday periods.
