Our team

Joan, Linda and Anna

Working in the MASH Team is challenging, it's interesting, it is demanding. It helps you utilise and build upon your existing skills as a social worker.
Joan, Linda and Anna work in the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub and talk about their work at the front door of the service; providing a multi-agency assessment of safeguarding concerns in respect of vulnerable children.

What attracted me to work in Hampshire was the support I would receive from my line manager.
Joan has worked for the County Council for five years and talks about how she was made to feel welcome and accepted. Discussing her personal development, Joan continues to refine her skills ensuring the families she works with receive the best possible support.

The great support that I get from both colleagues and managers is one of the main reasons why I like working for Hampshire.

Roger Ward has been a social worker with the County Council for 15 years and, in 2015, he was named Social Worker of the Year by the Fostering Network, for his outstanding contribution to foster care. Roger says that he "moved in to social work late in life" after 25 years of fostering children, with his wife.
