Help with relocation

Hampshire County Council offers help with relocation of up to £8,500, for employees who are moving to Hampshire, to help them settle into their new area and new role as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Flexible working

To help you meet your work and domestic commitments, we have a variety of flexible working arrangements. These include flexitime, job sharing and home-working. These can be used where operational requirements can be met.

Annual leave

We offer a generous annual leave entitlement. You will receive a minimum of 24 days per annum (pro rata) rising to a maximum of 30 days (pro rata) after 5 years service (dependent on grade).

Return to Practice

The Reablement Service will support un-registered occupational therapists with a supervised placement for the number of days required and will provide the additional benefits:

a. Attending the Newly Qualified or Return to Practice Programme
b. Flexible working over 7 days or possible of some evenings
c. Clinical supervision who will provide support towards re-registration
d. Mentorship from the Occupational Therapy Consultants and provide a counter signatory
e. Travel Expenses
f. Induction and access to IT equipment / Programmes

Sickness payment scheme
