Kate Davis


Kate is currently a Trainer for Barnardo's Training and Consultancy delivering courses in Child Protection and ED&I and has been a guest lecturer in modern slavery at both Portsmouth and Winchester universities.

Kate's previous role was Team Manager for Barnardo's National Counter Trafficking Service managing the Independent Child Trafficking Advocacy Service and Post 18 Counter Trafficking Service in Hampshire which saw her managing a small team of Project Workers and Student Social Workers. As part of this role Kate regularly delivered child trafficking and unaccompanied asylum seeking support training and awareness raising presentations to Children's Services, Police, Health and Education departments to name a few on how to identify and support potential victims. Kate has also been an active member of various multi-agency strategic panels and contributed to the 4 LSCB Exploitation Guide that was recently updated in Hampshire.

Prior to working for Barnardo's Kate worked for 2 local councils in London supported trafficking victims directly.
