ECT induction in Hampshire

Hampshire works as the ‘Appropriate Body’ for approximately 500 Early Career Teachers (ECTs) each year, ensuring that schools we work with provide a high quality of induction. This means there are plenty of opportunities for networking with other ECTs, and development opportunities in a variety of different schools. There is a dedicated ECTs team to support both schools and ECTs themselves and answer any induction-related queries.

Hampshire County Council is a supportive and friendly network of teachers and advisers who I have benefited from being supported by. I have been on a number of training courses with excellent leaders and facilities and would, without hesitation, recommend working with in Hampshire. Hampshire is a fantastic location for a range of varied educational visits and we are lucky to have had the opportunity to explore some of these this year.
