Central and Eastern Berkshire Authorities Joint Minerals and Waste Plan Additional Regulation 18 (Site Specific) Consultation
The Central & Eastern Berkshire Authorities (Bracknell Forest Council, Reading Borough Council, The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead and Wokingham Borough Council) are working in partnership to produce a Joint Minerals & Waste Plan which will guide minerals and waste decision making in the Plan area up until 2036.
The Joint Minerals & Waste Plan will build upon the formerly adopted minerals and waste plans for the Berkshire area, and improve, update and strengthen the policies and provide details of strategic sites that are proposed to deliver the vision.
The Central & Eastern Berkshire Authorities invited feedback from statutory consultees, stakeholders, communities, local organisations and businesses on a specific site - Bray Quarry Extension and the associated assessments including Sustainability Appraisal (incorporating Strategic Environmental Assessment).
The Site Specific Consultation ran for six weeks, beginning 9 July 2019 and ending 19 August 2019.
The Site Specific consultation has now closed and we are no longer accepting further comments. The responses have now been processed and a summary of the consultation is now available. We are continuing to work on updating the draft Plan and its evidence base, in preparation for the next stages of the Plan making process.
