Annual licence. A parcel of permanent pasture extending to approximately 2.428 hectares (5.99 acres) designated as a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC). Suitable for summer grazing. The successful applicant will be responsible for controlling any Himalayan balsam/ bramble /ragwort /thistles etc mechanically or by hand pulling (no sprays or inorganic fertilisers to be used) at the site which is to be taken as seen. The land has a tendency to get waterlogged in very wet periods and therefore needs active management and grazing during summer months.

Licence fee

Offers invited, licence fee payable annually in advance.  Please note there is an additional admin fee of £750.

Fencing

Applicants must decide for themselves if the fencing is adequate to keep any stock they might wish keep on the land contained.

Subletting

The licence is personal to the Licencee. No subletting permitted.

Subject to a satisfactory first year of use and subject to mutual agreement, the licence may be renewed for a further term.

An Expression of Interest for Grazing and/or Mowing arrangements should be completed by all applicants.
