Warwick has worked across both the public and private sector with over 25 years’ experience covering a number of roles within advertising, communications, consultations, marketing and market research. He has been responsible for the delivery of customer/sales growth, market and development research as well as donor and public engagement programmes. He has led a number of multi-disciplinary teams within the UK and abroad. He currently leads a team of professionals responsible for the delivery of a strong evidence base that is used for decision making within the authority.

Gareth Henry

Gareth has over 20 years' experience in geospatial and socio-economics research and analytics. He has worked in central government on geographic research and survey design and consultancy, and in the education sector for the Learning and Skills Council.

Currently based in Hampshire's socio-economic research team, Gareth has been responsible for producing statistics and reports in labour markets, deprivation and geodemographics using report writing, GIS, data analysis and infographic skills.

Gemma has worked in her current role for more than eight years. Previous work experience included time at the Office for National Statistics (ONS) working on neighbourhood statistics, various academic quantitative research positions - including working on a European osteoporosis study at Cambridge University and a project at Portsmouth University producing population estimates for particular health conditions.

Ivan Perkovic

Ivan has 13 years’ experience working in research and economic policy analysis at national, regional and sub-regional level. His experience and expertise is in economic policy analysis, economic modelling and forecasting and economic appraisals and impact evaluations. Ivan set up the Economic and Business Intelligence Service (EBIS) at Hampshire County Council. EBIS offers a range of economic and business intelligence, appraisal and evaluation consultancy services to counties, local enterprise partnerships and other public and private sector clients in the South East.

Prior to joining Hampshire Ivan was head of economic research at South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) and senior economic analyst at the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

James Ansell

Senior Project Officer (Land Supply)

James has 10 years’ experience within local government, and over eight years within the Land Supply team which he leads. James specialises in housing development, monitoring and providing housing data and information. He also manages Hampshire’s in-house database, the Land Availability Monitoring System (LAMS) involving data interrogation and GIS.

Kathryn has over 10 years’ experience working in local government. She worked at Southampton City Council for five years where she prepared and presented data, mainly from the Census to provide evidence to help with funding bids. At Hampshire she is responsible for producing Small Area Population Forecasts (SAPF) which are used across the council, particularly in school place planning to ensure efficient planning for the future.

Rob has over 30 years’ experience in planning, research and surveying across the public and private sector. Rob specialises in the provision of commercial Land Supply information, from Hampshire's Land Availability Monitoring System (LAMS) including industrial, office, retail and leisure data.

Jessica has been with the team for a year and joined the county council after completing her undergraduate degree. She is currently studying for her MSc in Demography. She has a keen interest in infographics and GIS. Her recent responsibilities have included producing and updating the demographic factsheets for the website.

Dan has fifteen years’ experience and has applied his expertise in GIS, data governance and management successfully to a number of public authority work areas including planning and research and intelligence. He has been involved with a number of successful bids for funding on data exploitation projects, including enhanced use of the county's aerial photography and developing the nationally adopted data schemes for planning applications.

Julio is an economic analyst with over six years’ experience in local government and the private sector.

Julio’s expertise is analysing complex socio-economic issues at national, regional and sub-regional level using a range of quantitative methods. Julio is an advanced Excel user and has experience of several statistical / econometric packages such as Matlab, Stata, Eviews, SPSS and SQL. Julio supports the work of the Economic & Business Intelligence Service (EBIS), delivering planned and ad hoc reports for external and internal stakeholders.

Prior to joining the team Julio worked for Childrens’ Services at Hampshire County Council supporting the Troubled Families National Program. Before this Julio was a business analyst at Carnival Cruise Line.
