Dominic McGrath

Dominic is a highly experienced senior manager with over 25 years’ involvement in the transport planning sector. He has worked for a number of authorities managing transport planning within a political environment, and gained a strong commercial and customer focused approach from his time with Barclays Bank.

Dominic leads Hampshire Services’ Strategic Transport team and is project director for a wide range of transport planning schemes. He uses his experience at the interface of transport and land-use planning to facilitate sustainable and deliverable development proposals, including supporting Local Plans and Public Inquiries. He has expertise in partnership working, stakeholder engagement and commissioning consultants, as well as accessing new funding opportunities through bidding and business case development.

Nicola Waight

Nicola has more than a decade of wide-ranging experience in transport and environment disciplines within unitary and county authorities, and the private sector. She has successfully managed a variety of high profile, large budget, and award-winning projects and worked closely with elected members and external stakeholders on politically sensitive issues.

As Principal Transport Planner, Nicola supports internal and external clients, mainly in the public sector, with their transport needs, most recently including a successful bid to the EM3 LEP for over £3m on behalf of East Hants District Council for walking and cycling improvements, as well as leading a team to deliver Havant Borough Council’s Local Plan Transport Assessment and completing a Technical Transport Study for improvements to Petersfield Town Centre.

Ben Brooks-Martin

Ben joined the team in mid 2018, bringing with him 14 years’ wide-ranging experience in transport and planning disciplines at Hampshire County Council having previously worked within the Home to School Transport Service and Strategic Transport team.  He has successfully managed transport projects on a variety of scales and has worked closely with local authorities, elected members and external stakeholders.

As Transport Planner, Ben leads on delivery of transport statements for Hampshire’s programme of school expansions. He has recently also led on commissions on behalf of East Hampshire District Council and Reading Borough Council.

Ben Mitchell

Ben joined the team in mid 2018 having worked within other teams at Hampshire County Council since October 2015.

In his role as Assistant Transport Planner, among other things, Ben contributes to the team by developing travel plan monitoring systems, working on transport statements and assessments, and commissioning and analysing survey data for our clients.

Callum Little

Callum joined the team in mid 2018 after graduating from Loughborough University with a Geography degree, specialising in regionalism and GIS. As Assistant Transport Planner, Callum contributes towards the development and delivery of transport projects for our clients. Most recently, Callum has been working on transport statements and assessments, monitoring of travel plans, and developing GIS procedures to produce technical maps for our clients’ projects.
