Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) sit alongside the adopted Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan (HMWP), providing guidance on the implementation of the HMWP policies. They were adopted in 2016.

The minerals and waste safeguarding SPD provides guidance on what minerals and waste safeguarding is and how to implement the policy. It aims to improve how Hampshire Authorities work with other local authorities, developers and other interested parties on this issue.
