Non-material amendments
Non-material amendments are when following the grant of planning permission, it may be necessary to make arrangements to the permission. The definition of non-material is the responsibility of each planning authority to determine. The Council must be satisfied that the amendment sought is non-material. Article 27's
When planning permission is granted, planning conditions may be applied which an applicant has to comply with, usually before the development can proceed.
There is a fee associated with any request to formally discharge a planning condition which is applied to each submission. This is regardless of the number of conditions involved.
The County Council has a period of 8 weeks within which to determine to Article 27 submissions.
