This temporary exhibition explores the role of The King's Royal Rifle Corps and The Rifle Brigade in the lead-up to VE Day, highlighting soldiers’ experiences during the final days of World War II in Europe. Through historical accounts visitors will gain insight into the lives of the troops as they advanced towards victory. The exhibition also commemorates the soldiers' celebrations upon hearing the news of VE Day, offering a glimpse into how these men, after years of hardship, marked the end of the conflict and the return of peace.
