Getting the most out of your library PC session
Top tips
- Your library membership gives you free access to a range of premium online services. Visit the digital library homepage to find out more.
- All library computers include Microsoft Office software. Visit the Office 365 Training Centre for help getting started.
- Already planning your next trip to the library? You can pre-book a library computer online.
- Got some printing to do? You can print in full-colour on A3 or A4 paper from any library computer.
- Not all websites are available on library computers. For a list of blocked websites, see our use and filtering policy.
- Need to take your work home? You can save your data onto a portable USB drive. If you don't have one, they are available for purchase at the front desk.
Volunteering
Love your local library? You can make a valuable contribution as a library volunteer. This is a great opportunity to make friends, learn new skills and gain valuable workplace experience.
Our volunteering opportunities are flexible and varied. You could be helping to run library events, organising activities for children or lending a helping hand with door-to-door deliveries as part of our home library service. Follow the link below to find out more.
