Claire Fuller is an award-winning and critically acclaimed Winchester based novelist known for her beautifully crafted but unsettling psychological thrillers. We have chosen Claire to be our Author of the Month for May.
Her first novel ‘Our Endless Numbered Days’ won the 2015 Desmond Elliott Prize for debut fiction and subsequent novels have continued to frequent the longlists and shortlists of prestigious literary prizes.
A firm friend of Hampshire Libraries, Claire will be ‘In Conversation’ at Basingstoke Discovery Centre this May to discuss her latest novel, ‘The Memory of Animals’. Published in April, it’s a haunting dystopian tale of grief and guilt, freedom and captivity, survival, and sacrifice.
