Aims of The Course:
Learn about of the 8 limbs of Hatha yoga while increasing your feeling of well-being.
Learning Goals: (by the end of the course you will be able to...)
* Perform postures to develop back flexibility and strength
* Improve shoulder, neck and hip mobility
* Strengthen abdominal muscles
* Learn a variety of energy control techniques
* Perform balancing practices
About the Course:
Hatha Yoga is actually what most people would call yoga. This is a system of yoga pioneered in India by a 15th Century Yogic Sage named Yogi Swatmarama. Hatha Yoga is a system of yoga most popular in the world and is commonly practised in the West.
No previous knowledge or experience is needed. Beginners will be made welcome.
You will need to:
Bring a yoga or exercise mat and a bottle of water.
Wear loose comfortable clothing
Extra layer of clothing/a blanket for relaxation.
