French for Beginners at Hayling Island Library
Learn French and get more from your visit to a French speaking country.
This course aims to help you to start speaking French in order to get more from your visit to a French speaking country. You will learn and practise some of the language needed to deal with day-to-day situations and gain confidence in understanding what is being said to you.
This course can form the first part of the accredited syllabus if you wish.
Learning will happen in a relaxed atmosphere with a small group of learners.
The Library has books available to borrow to support this course.
No previous knowledge or experience is required. You will need to bring a notepad and pen
This Course could lead to:
* French for Beginners 2 and 3 through Learning in Libraries or enrolment at a local FE college for a longer course.
* Library staff can advise on local French language groups or the support they can give in establishing such a group.
* Other Language courses
Friday 20 April to 25 May, 2pm to 4pm. Booking is essential, so contact the library, call the booking line on 023 9246 1534 or visit www.hants.gov.uk/shop to guarantee a place. Attendance is expected at each session to ensure that you get the most out of your learning experience and to minimise disruption for other learners.
