Drawing and Painting Seascapes
Create beautiful seascapes paintings and drawings at Hayling Island Library.
Join us to learn how to paint and draw water in different states and incorporate features like boats and people into your paintings.
Also learn to mix the colours present in a seascape on both a clear and cloudy day. You will leave the course having completed a series of waterscape paintings and drawings using photographs as a starting point.
The knowledge and skills gained should give you the confidence to go out and produce your own waterscape paintings and drawings from direct observation.
No previous knowledge is required.
For the first session you will need to buy/bring:
* Watercolour paints (12 colour pans or tubes), large plastic palette, water container and a size 8 nylon / sable round ended brush.
