Drawing Landscapes in Contemporary Styles.
An interesting and challenging course on drawing techniques and styles
Aims of The Course:
Come and join us for an interesting and challenging course on drawing techniques and styles. We will work with a variety of drawing materials, including biro, felt pen and charcoal. We will look at several contemporary artists and their drawing techniques, and aim to produce a completed landscape piece per week.
Learning Goals: (by the end of the course you will be able to...)
* Experiment confidently with a variety of drawing styles and techniques throughout the course.
* Predict, plan and consider the artistic outcome you want to achieve and be able to outline this to the group.
* Complete a drawing every session.
About the Course:
Please bring with you a variety of landscape photos for each session, along with A4/A3 good quality paper, drawing pencils, eraser.
For the first session please bring some rural landscapes, images of the countryside, and also bring some charcoal if you have
Course could lead to: Further Art Courses or attendance at local art clubs or societies.
Attendance is expected at each session to ensure that you get the most out of your learning experience and to minimise disruption for other learners. Please advise the venue/tutor of any absence you may have.
