Learning in Libraries - Dance, Stretch & Tone

Dance your way to fitness in the comfort of your own home. This session will be a dance party inspired workout to popular current chart hits and hits throughout the decades. This course is for adults of all ages. You will follow a variety of dance workout routines, dance inspired strength exercises for the upper and lower body and stretches to improve flexibility.

This motivating and upbeat dance inspired course aims to increase your heart rate, step count and promote wellbeing. You will follow dance workout routines to a variety of uplifting popular chart tracks to provide you with energy and motivation for your day.
The sessions will also feature strength exercises for the upper and lower body, a dance inspired arm and thigh sculpting workout, core strength exercises and a stretch and cool down.

By the end of the course you will be able to...

  • Demonstrate improved fitness by performing dance inspired routines
  • Demonstrate improved core strength by performing exercises to strengthen and tone the abdominals
  • Display improved strength and tone in the upper and lower body by performing dance inspired arm and thigh sculpting exercises
  • Display improved flexibility through the performance of a variety of dance inspired stretches
