A fun family session with activities to help you learn how to paint ceramic and glass items, upcycle items from the home. This workshop is for parents/carers and their children aged 6+.

This course is for families looking to develop their creative skills in using glass and ceramic painting techniques, whilst also having fun working alongside one another

By the end of the course, you will be able to...

  • Create at least two painted items
  • Make different marks with your tools
  • Upcycle items from the home and paint them

Each child and adult will need:

  • Glass and Ceramic items – jam jars, mugs, plates
  • Paints – Glass and ceramic paints are ideal, but acrylic paints will work if items are to be decorative only
  • Small paintbrushes, Sponge, Cocktail sticks, String, ribbon, stickers, pva glue

Materials to share:

  • Kitchen roll, water pot, cover for your table
  • Plastic board and rolling pin
