All levels welcome! This course is aimed at those who have attended previous art courses and wish to extend and develop their skills as well as for complete beginners.

Aims of the Course
To support the continued development of your painting and drawing skills and to help you identify and achieve individual projects.
Session 1 and 2 - Painting figures. Technique: Acrylic. (Oils can be used)
Session 3 and 4 - Painting a still life. Technique: Oil. (Acrylics can be used)
Session 5 - Creating an illustration. Technique: Indian ink, watercolour or acrylic ink.

By the end of the course you will be able to...

  • Demonstrate, develop and improve drawing skills and techniques
  • Demonstrate, develop and improve use of different media (acrylics, oils, charcoals, etc)Push your creativity and invention
  • Confidently use a broad range of media
  • Be able to work confidently on different subjects (portraiture, landscape, abstract, botanical etc)

Materials required - the tutor will send you a list of materials before the course starts.
