For those who have completed the beginners’ course – or are at a similar stage in their learning – this will enable you to enjoy playing a more challenging range of songs on the ukulele.

You will need your own ukulele and have already completed the beginners course or be at a similar level. If in doubt, please ask for further information.  You will also need to be able to comfortably play some basic chords in the open position. All learning materials will be provided.

During this course, you will learn more chords, strumming and how to read tablature to play single notes. These will be used to play a range of songs and tunes.

By the end of the course you will be able to...

  • Play the most useful chords for the ukulele
  • Perform common strumming patterns
  • Read ukulele tab to play single notes
  • Perform a selection of popular songs
