Fairies, fairs and fancy dress

Meet Fancy Fairies and Terrible Trolls at Staunton Country Park throughout half term with face painting, animal encounters and a fancy dress competition.

Roll up for All the Fun of the Fair at Queen Elizabeth Country Park with a circus workshop including juggling, unicycling and face painting everyday from 12 to 15 February.

Or you can dress up as a knight, king or queen, or follow the villains, heroes and ghosts children’s trails at Winchester’s Great Hall throughout half term.

Digital delights

The future is here with Virtual Reality, Lego Robotics and 3D printing sessions throughout half term at The Makery in Fareham and Fleet libraries. You can also create a Crumble gadget with recycled materials and electronics.

Back to nature

Get muddy, do some cave painting and find hidden treasures from ages past with Family Stone Age Archaeology at Hillier Gardens on 12 February.

Follow the wellie trail throughout half term at Manor Farm. Try your hand at bug hunting and pond dipping, create some wellie and bug crafts, and test your strength with wellie wanging!

At Lepe Country Park you can build a bird box or rustic feeder for your garden on 13 February.

Take flight on the Feathered Friends Trail at Royal Victoria Country Park throughout half term, or join the Owl Babies story trail on 12 and 16 February at River Hamble Country Park.

Action heroes

Enjoy an Action Adventure Day at Calshot, Tile Barn or Runway’s End outdoor centres. Choose from a range of activities such as skiing, high ropes, bouldering, archery, track cycling or mountain biking.
